ALETA HOWELL is director of global DEI talent strategy for Cisco Systems, where she is responsible for aligning corporate and functional diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and creating internal and external programs and initiatives that drive diverse and inclusive hiring. Prior to her current role, Howell led DEI for University recruiting, where she worked with leaders and HR partners to drive hiring for university recruiting. Before joining Cisco, Howell built a career in brand consulting. Howell earned a BA in economics and business management from N.C. State University and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at UNC-Chapel Hill.
